i. Update Indoor Soccer

1. Gym reserved until – 3pm
2. Need stop watches, 2 whistle & masking tape
3. Play on 2 courts
4. Ro should bring first aid kit

ii. Update 'Kongsi Raya' Celebration

1. Directors: Taroi, Adillah & Terry
2. Venue:

Mothers will be available in 3 weeks
Alumni house: only available in 2 weeks ( Feb 18^th evening & Feb 20^th lunch)
Decided: Feb 18th

3. Name: Merry Gong-Xi Raya
4. Gift - Everyone must bring a gift (thoughtful & meaningful) for everyone but make sure it is wrapped (Ariff will send out an email)
5. Decorations ideas: socks, angpow, ketupat
6. Food: depends on the committee

iii. Update Tsunami

1. The organizer does not have a plan yet – MASA will collect own money
2. Who will we give to? OXFAM
3. Give some proceeds to the Tsunami

iv. Update Nusantara 05

1. 1^st meeting held on Tuesday, Jan 25 & every other Tuesday
2. Proposal in process of completion & cover letter all set to go

Nusantara – meaning of nusantara

Emphasize on Tsunami funds

4. Expectations of event
1. Encourage intranetworking with the community
2. Collect money to be donated to Tsunami Fund
3. To promote RPI
5. What is Malaysian Nite?
1. A creative production of Rensselaer community to expose our culture
6. Call it : Malaysian Cultural Nite
7. Proposal must be very detailed
8. We might not get full amount but MSD might need to generate own money
9. To look for sponsorship from TDC (Marketing & PR) & look for contacts to borrow costumes & make costumes
10. Make the best of what we can to provide a good foundation for next year
11. Ask other Malaysian communities
12. Should not spend money on buying but on renting
13. Get final dateline for everything to be completed and in place
14. Must write sponsorship letter

v. Bursar Issue

1. We should make own list of transcript request to send to bursar and not request individually so that transcripts can be sent in bulks.
